SJN greatly appreciates that this event is made possible through the support of and partnership with Mesa Community College.

Kick your job interview preparation into gear by attending this upcoming SJN Southeast workshop! Great interviewees are the ones who prepare for and practice their interview strategy and hone their communication skills.  SJN is providing the opportunity to practice and polish your interview skills in this upcoming workshop.

 Module 4 Workshop:

Mock Interviewing

Event Details
Research shows that the more you practice and rehearse your content, the better your delivery.  Take advantage of this opportunity to practice your interviewing technique in a safe and supportive environment.  This workshop will give you the opportunity to apply learnings from Module 4, Interviewing and Managing Offers, and practice your interviewing repeatedly and receive feedback within small groups.

During this workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in groups with actual recruiters, hiring managers and HR professionals facilitating the mock interviews.  As part of this workshop, interviewees will be exposed to the interview process, learn what types of questions could be asked during an actual interview and have the opportunity to practice, polish, and fine-tune actual interview skills.  A good resume and effective networking will help you get the interview; but a great interview will help you get the JOB!

Learning Objectives
1.  Practice your interviewing techniques.

2.  Receive feedback.

3.  Observe other interviewees.

4.  Provide feedback.

5.  Develop a plan for improving your interviewing techniques.
